NAMI the National Alliance on Mental Illness

Serving Forsyth, Dawson and Lumpkin Counties in North Georgia

FDL NAMI is a local chapter, self-help, support and advocacy organization of family and friends of the mentally ill. FDL NAMI is an affiliate with the NAMI Georgia and NAMI National organization. Our mission is to help consumers and families affected by severe mental illness.  Of critical importance right now is fighting social stigma of mental illness, raising awareness of local available resources concerning housing and transportation needs, and working one-to-one with families caught in the circle of not knowing where to go or what to do.
